Take the PADI Night Diver course with The Dive Shop
As the sun sets, you put on your dive gear, slip on your scuba mask, take a breath and submerge into a whole new world. A familair dive site now illuminated only by the glow of your dive light.
*** October 24 @ Lake Chaparral *** - Subject to lake change dependant on weather access. If Lake Chaparral is not avalilable all 3 dives will be at Forget-Me-Not Pond (a $21.00 access fee will be charged at time of gear rentals for Lake Chaparral access)
Divers must have their own torch with back up recommended.

The Fun Part
Introduce yourself to the whole new cast of critters that comes out after the sun goes down. See your favorite dive sites from a whole new perspective at night.
What You Learn
- Night dive planning, organisation, procedures, techniques and potential problems
- How to control your buoyancy at night
- Entries, exits and underwater navigation at night
- Nocturnal aquatic life, since many of the plants and animals you'll see are different
Prerequisites
To take this course, you must be:
- A PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
- 15 years old (12 for Junior Open Water Diver)
- A completed Medical Statement and the Continuing Education. Please note any "Yes" on the medical form requires a doctor sign off prior to you entering the course.
